Wenger Excited Napoli Pass Big 16

LONDON - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted happy with Napoli's escape into the Champions League last 16. Wenger feels the public already knows how great proof of Naples at this season the way they escaped from the Group A Champions League.

The French coach is also rejected if many people say Italian football is experiencing a resurgence. According to Wenger, no one stood up because it is the first Italian football has always been at the highest level.

"I do not think that the 'Italian' middle back, I think they're always here (highest level), (Italy) it is a match that has a tremendous football tradition and there are many top clubs, including Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Naples , "Wenger said as quoted by Tribal Football, Tuesday (13/12/2011).

"I am pleased with the return of Napoli to this level because it is a team that had played an important role in Europe," he added.

Involved in group A with Manchester City, Villareal, Bayern Munich, Napoli prove their toughness by qualifying for the last 16. It can not be followed by Manchester City and Manchester United are in fact considered superior in many facets of Naples.

"Clearly Napoli has proven they deserve to be a surprise in the final round (Champions League). Manchester City and Manchester United are still hoping they can get away, but both were knocked out, "he concluded.
