MOSCOW - CSKA Moscow coach, Leonid Slutsky, said that his team is not afraid to face the big teams in the last 16 even if the team is Real Madrid.
CSKA Moscow did appear quite a surprise in the Champions League in 2011 and made it through to round of 16, after beating Inter Milan with a score of 2-1. CSKA appeared as runner-up group and is predicted to face the big teams in the last 16 later.
Slutsky did not flinch in the face of great teams in the Champions League last 16. Although, he understands there is a chance his team will meet with great teams from Spain, Real Madrid.
"The remaining teams are all very viable counts," he said, as reported by Goal, Friday (12/09/2011).
"I do not think they (Real Madrid) for the moment, although I have no problem going to play against Real Madrid and later," continued Slutsky.
CSKA qualified for the round of 16 after continued to beat Lille and Trabzonspor. The Russian club was able to collect eight points. One point was superior to Trabzonspor and two points from Lille.
